Calculate your salary hike by percentage:
Step 1: Multiply your current salary by the increment percentage.
Step 2: Divide that value by 100.
Step 3: Add the value to the current salary.
Let’s say you have a current salary of 10,000 and your increment percentage is 30% then you can do the calculation like below.
Formula: ( ( 10000 * 30 ) / 100 ) + 10000 = 13000
Calculate the percentage by new Salary:
Step 1: Take the difference between the new salary and the old salary.
Step 2: Divide it by the old salary.
Step 3: Multiply by 100 to get the percentage value.
Let’s say you have the old and new salary is 10000 and 13000 respectively.
Formula: ( ( 13000 - 10000 ) / 10000 ) * 100 = 30%
